Ramadan also serves to remind Muslims of the importance of charity, and their obligation to be charitable during the month and all throughout the year.

Some 805 million people live without enough food and 800 million people do not have access to clean drinking water.

This Ramadan, when we stop fasting and when we stop being thirsty, they don’t.

…And those in whose wealth there is a recognised right for the needy and the poor.

This Qur’anic verse reminds us that zakat is the God-given right of the recipients.

Our projects range from providing relief items such as food and shelter, to giving grants to impoverished trainee teachers and supporting farmers with tools to build themselves. Our aim is to provide the best relief to meet people’s most critical needs.
