As Chairman of the Residents Association of Union Park Gate. (The Flower Foundation)
We have approximately 110 old people living in our block, most of them are SASSA pensioners and although we get subsidized we must still pay a large portion of our pension for the rental of the units and electricity.
Leaving some people with very limited funds for other luxuries like groceries and toiletries
So I have decided that I would like to try and brighten up their lives I do hereby appeal to you to assist us in acquiring some groceries or toiletries.
It has also come to our attention that some of the residents start walking at 5 in the morning to the hospital for either medication treatments or check-ups just because they can’t afford transport.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you can help to put a smile on someone's face this year. (for some it might be their last year) ANYTHING will be greatly appreciated. (or you can pass this on to your friends that might be able to help)
