Pet World is a pet shop based at Pretoria, Montana Family Market looking for a Full Time Male Sales Assistant.
Requirements:
· Preferably Male.
· Knowledge of aquatics (tropical and fresh water fish) and domestic pet care.
· Display outstanding customer service skills.
· Have a positive, can do attitude.
· Show initiative, enthusiasm and punctuality.
· Have the ability to work unsupervised.
· We are looking for energetic applicants with a passion and experience in retail.
Responsibilities:
· You will be selling domestic animals like, birds, rabbits, rodents and fish, and also pet food, cages, accessories and equipment.
· Provide excellent, customer service, maintain brand and product knowledge.
· Maintain and uphold the stores presentation standards.
· Be able to properly advise customers with the best pet related solution.
· Sell products open and close the shop, as this is full time positions and you will be required to work week days, weekends and public holidays, working hours Monday – Saturday 09h00 to 17h30 and Sunday 09h00 – 17h00.
· Keep inventory properly stocked and organized.
· Looking after the animals in the pet shop.
· The confidence to handle a wide range of domestic animals.
