Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
•B.Eng. (Civil/Structural) or B.Tech (Civil/Structural) or ND(Civil/Structural)
Experience
•Must have at least minimum of 4 years design experience, structural building design
•Consulting experience essential
•Must have previous experience in software design packages (Revit, AutoCAD, etc)
•Previous designs of foundations and building structures of commercial buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, residential buildings, etc
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
•Designing of building structures - including large retail shopping centres, commercial office buildings with deep basements, high rise apartment buildings, housing developments and single residential luxury homes, industrial distribution centres and factories etc
•Attend site inspections and meetings with own transport
•Interact with other consultants, clients and contractors
•Involved in all aspects of running projects
Special requirements
The successful candidate must have:
• A valid driver’s license

• Excellent communication and interaction skills
• Excellence and delivery orientated
Computer Competency Requirements
•MS Office
•AutoCAD
•Any other design packages will be a plus
Languages (Written & Spoken)
•English
