Position: Senior Technician
Location: Elandsfontein (Pretoria West)
Salary: R550k – R400k

My client is seeking the skills and expertise in a prospect professional to complement their business, which offers a one-stop test and evaluation service of electrical, electronic and mechanical products and systems in accordance with a wide range of commercial, industrial and military specifications .

Qualifications and Competencies required
•S4 or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering)
•5-7 years’ experience in the vehicle testing industry
•Computer literate
•Sound knowledge of vehicle and vehicle dynamics
•Must have strong experience, have worked with PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT EQUIPTMENT involved in the testing of vehicles.
•Valid driver’s license (Code 10 or higher) and own transport
•VERY good organisational and communication skills
•Project management skills
•VERY strong team player
•Have knowledge of ISO 9001/ 17025 standards

Duties and Responsibilities

•Managing and execution of tests
•Data acquisition, processing and reduction
•Writing of technical reports
•Project planning, scheduling and control
•Management of resources
•Providing proposals and quotations to clients, and communication with clients the whole time
•Establishing new technology in vehicle test environment
•Consultation service to clients
