•Proof of registration as Professional Nurse with SANC
•Experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, General Surgery
•Previous experience in a similiar environment will be an advantage
•Well developed interpersonal and organisational skills
•Must be able to work effectively within a team
•Clinical competence
•Must be willing to work shifts
•The ability to function effectively under pressure
•Providing high quality patient care
•Liaison between patients, doctors and personnel
•Responsible for accurate record keeping
•Client satisfaction
•Ad hoc duties as may be required by the department head
